WINTER UNIFORM HK
We've returned to HK to quite balmy weather though foggy. First on the agenda was exchanging some unwanted Christmas gifts so we headed down to Landmark for a walk. I had bought some jewellery from Isaia Napoli (plus a jacket which he did like) which needed to be returned so we did that first. If you don't know this brand, you should check it out. Fabulous Italian suits and jackets that are all handmade in beautifully light fabrics. Perfect for the weather here.
Errands like these need a uniform. Not too precious so that your clothes can't take anything that the day might throw at you, but stylish enough that could pop into the Mandarin for tea.

I tend to be a bit of a classicist in my own wardrobe and I like keeping it pretty simple. At the moment I am wearing the pieces pictured above. These are casual enough to run around in but layered as even though we're in the middle of winter it is still around 20 degrees. You need to be able to take layers on and off. I keep the jewellery simple - a watch and a small necklace all in classic shapes.
I am really a Golden Goose Deluxe sneaker convert. So comfy and great for travelling. The distressed finish means that you don't have to take too much care to not get them marked. They look beaten up anyway. The high rise fit to the jeans keeps my tummy in check and are so comfy in a stretch denim. All in all very practical, but luxe at the same time.
I'm personally a big fan of eclectic-cool blog. Thanks for sharing this post.
